Wednesday, April 23 | 7pm–Midnight | Bissap Baobab, 2243 Mission St, SF

Cat’s Corner is back for a special Wednesday night celebration of swing, style, and soul—featuring live New Orleans-style jazz, two dance lessons, and a cocktail-themed dress-up night!

💃 Dance Lessons
Start your evening with a 90-minute Intermediate Lindy Hop Workshop taught by Nathan Dias & Ilsa Gobuleva (7–8:30pm), followed by a fun and friendly Beginner Swing Warm-up (8:30–9pm).

🎷 Live Music & Social Dancing
From 9–11:30pm, swing out to the sounds of Grammy-winning trombonist Mike Rinta and his New Orleans Dance Party Band, featuring vocalist Emily Day. DJed tunes carry us through the final stretch, 11:30 to midnight.

🍸 Theme: Match Your Cocktail Night
Come dressed to match your drink—whether it’s a Manhattan in maroon or a Mojito in mint—and you might just win a prize!

🍽 Drinks & Small Bites
Enjoy creative cocktails and Senegalese-Californian fusion bites from Bissap Baobab’s kitchen.

🎟 Admission
• General Admission: $15 (includes beginner lesson)
