Dave & Charlie Stellar are beloved Bay Area Lindy Hop teachers known for playful, practical classes rooted in connection, musicality, momentum, and social dance joy.

Dave has taught Lindy Hop and Blues around the world, helping dancers find the good stuff fast: connection that feels clear, momentum that feels effortless, and musicality that makes every dance more alive. His work as an improv performer adds an extra spark to the classroom, bringing quick thinking, curiosity, humor, and a love of creative risk-taking.

Charlie brings a lifetime of movement and music to the partnership, with a background in modern dance, contemporary dance, hip hop, yoga, and musicianship. Her eye for body mechanics and rhythm helps dancers move with more ease, expression, and confidence.
Together, Dave and Charlie create classes that are warm, clear, and full of discovery. Student favorites at events like Woodchopper’s Ball and Breakaway Swing, they are also active in welcoming new dancers into the Bay Area scene through community events like Noe Valley’s Swing in the Square. Their teaching helps dancers of all levels find more play, comfort, and musical connection in their Lindy Hop.
