Wednesday, August 26 • Live music by Radio Gatsby

Apparently Nathan has been doing Cat’s Corner for 20 years, so we’re throwing a party.

The last week of August marks two decades since Nathan joined Cat’s Corner alongside founder Catrine—and 25 years since Catrine started Cat’s Corner itself back in 2001. For our end-of-the-month theme night, we’re celebrating the whole long, wonderful history with Radio Gatsby, a little Jazz-Age glamour, and a very full dance floor.

Come dressed for a 1920s night out—or your own interpretation of it: fringe, velvet, waistcoats, wide-legged trousers, sequins, bow ties, vintage jewelry, Art Deco flair, or simply something fabulous. Costumes are optional.

Between band sets, we’ll have a Cat’s Corner Memory Jar for your favorite stories from years past, a community timeline where you can mark the year you first joined us, and a Misbehavin’ Time Capsule filled with notes, photos, predictions, and messages to the Cat’s Corner dancers of the future. We’ll seal it that night and open it in 2031.

Bring a memory. Leave something for the future. Dress up if the spirit moves you.

And most importantly, come dance with us as we celebrate twenty years of misbehavin’.

New to swing dancing?

Start with our 9 PM Beginner Swing Crash Course.

It’s 30 minutes, absolute-beginner friendly, no partner needed, and no advance registration required. We’ll show you enough to jump into the party right away.

Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a very stylish Wednesday night out.
